i barely ever update this thing...but i figured that i'd put in an entry before summer ends and school starts.
ready to hear about my summer journey??? haha ok....some memorable events:
i spent the first three weeks of the summer taking a class about biomedical science at Brown University. I thought i was going to be at ultimate nerd camp but the people there were pretty chill...lots of international students so it was pretty cool to meet them but i'll prolly never ever see them again. The class itself was pretty interesting but i don't think you guys want to hear about that. haha. it was definitely unforgettable...the wall climbing, late night swinging, shopping, being scolded by policemen for being asian and taking pictures, thayer street, the slapping, cramming into cabs, TEXT TWIST etc.

now that its the end of the summer.....basically all the graduated seniors are gone.  . have fun in college guys and gals!

that's my summer in a nutshell....it was quite an adventure for me even if this entry doesn't make it out to be that interesting...lots of ups and downs. I mean, next yr is my senior year and the thought of going to college and being off on my own soon seems too shocking. Other than thinking about college lots of random thoughts have been floating around in my head.....regrets...goals....spiritual things...doubts...etc. I remember thinking some of the same things last year, so maybe they're not so random. It seems so much easier to make time to pray or just meditate on scripture in the summer....more time I guess....but once school starts, its like a whole new state of mind. I remember making the commitment last year to not screw up my priorities once school started but it wasn't much of a commitment cause it didn't work out too well. Hopefully...this year will be a little different.
well the summer's not over YET...let's make the most of it. |
